How this works
Your passphrase derives an AES-256 key here, in the page, using PBKDF2 with 600,000 iterations. Files are encrypted before upload. The server stores ciphertext and an IV, and holds no key capable of reading them.
That is also the limitation: there is no reset. A reset path would mean the server could decrypt. Lose the passphrase and the documents are gone permanently.

Two-factor authentication
A six-digit code from an authenticator app, on top of your password. Off unless you switch it on. It protects signing in; it is not part of the vault's encryption, so switching it on or off never touches your documents.
—
Scan this in your authenticator app, or type the key in by hand.
Write these down now. Each works once, in place of a code, if you cannot reach your authenticator. They are not shown again.
Where you are signed in
Every device holding a live session for this account. Ending one signs that device out immediately.
Change your password
There is one password: it signs you in and it opens Settings. This form changes it.
Delete your account
Removes your account and everything kept under it on the server: your trip, bookings, flights, chats, settings and the phones registered for alerts. What this phone holds offline (passes, saved maps) is removed when the app is uninstalled. This cannot be undone. A plan that is still billing has to be cancelled first.
Time & time zones
Every time and date in the app — reminders, bookings, the assistant’s answers — uses this zone. Following your phone, it changes by itself when your phone does after you land.
The map reads the clock where you are pointing it. Your home zone stays next to it, so a call back home is never mistimed by a day.
Map options
Every switch on the map — the layers you turned on, which kinds of transit and places you picked, your travel mode — saves itself as you tap it and comes back next time. This puts all of them back to the defaults. Your account, saved places and offline map areas are not touched.
Your data
Your own records are saved on this device first, so they are always with you. Here is what lives where, how much room it takes, and whether a copy also goes to your account.
This app on this device
The app keeps a copy of itself so it opens with no signal. If a screen ever looks broken or stuck on an old version after an update, empty that copy — nothing on your account is touched, and saved offline map areas are kept.
